Road trip. 23rd annual Gloucester Mardi Gras sponsored by the Cajun Zydeco Band Unknown Tongues. Gloucester is about 30 minutes from Beaufort on the Carolina Coast. Homemade Cajun gumbo, oysters, deep fried turkeys, several bands with the Unknown Tongues heading the list, kids crafts and mask making, Fools procession. This is a family friendly and good eating event, all free with donations appreciated. Volunteers start the cooking Friday night from 6-10 with some live music to stir the roux by. Website .
