5/17 Cuban Salsa Movie & Dance Party. Eduardo and Nadia of Paso Dance Studio are hosting a showing of the documentary movie La Salsa Cubana , the story of a Cuban dance group trying to win a national competition in Havana. Dance party to follow. Movie 7:30 followed by dancing until 11:30 PM. Free to Meetup members. Paso Dance Studio, 1601 E. Geer St. Durham. Meetup .

5/31-6/2 Port City Salsa Splash 2013. Wilmington Latin Dance is sponsering a weekend of dancing and beach fun with Friday through Sunday events on the beach in Wrightsville Beach, NC.. Salsa and Bachata workshops with Mambo Dinamico and Oui 2 Well known out of town DJs  Facebook .

 6/8 Baile Carrboro*Chapel Hill at The Flowjo,  DJ Abuelo Salsero Jack  The Flowjo has one of the best dance floors in the Triangle, great acoustics, friendly vibe, and the mix is similar to Sunday Socials with about 60% Salsa/Mambo and the rest, a mix of Bachata, Merengue, and Cha Cha. 6/14 Africa Meets Salsa. A collaboration between DJ Sino Mokosa of African Rhythms and Abuelo Salsero Jack featuring the best of African Salsa: Africando, Ricardo Lemvo, Pape Fall and others, Latin American and NY Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, and Cha Cha as well as music from the continenet including Highlife, Soukhous, Xhosa, Soweto Jive.
